MEET THE LINGUS CREW

The Unholy Lingus Trinity

Culled from the very depths of the southern redneck rock-n-roll soul of East Texas comes the roaring juggernaut known as Connie Lingus. Or at least that's how the band describes themselves. From 2005 - 2009, they blazed a drug and booze fueled trail of carnage that has become legendary in local circles throughout the region.

The end result is all the drugs and booze is very technical, and the quality more than a little questionable. But what is undeniable is the passion, the heart, and the raging teen angst level of hormones on display for all the world to witness! Come and feel the southern fried power for yourselves, before your better judgement gets the upper hand!

Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals

With the flying fingers and manual dexterity of an underage sweatshop worker, Lefty burns through guitar strings at a record setting pace! He is currently seeking an equipment sponsor, and a reliable guitar tech with nerves of steel.

Upright Bass, Fiddle, Backing Vocals

Best characterized by her healthy dose of lady-like sex appeal, Maribelle Clementine packs a sharp wit and an even sharper hunting knife stashed in an unmentionable location! Tough as nails, she’s easily considered the “enforcer” of the group.

Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar

The smoldering fury at the center of the Lingus juggernaut, Eugene is the epitome of the consumate showman. He is always “on”, and more than ready to burn down the barn… or maybe even a small East Texas town!

Drums, Yodeling, Drunken Absenteeism

BoJack is notorious for not being around when it’s time to hit the stage. The situation is so bad, no one is really sure what he even looks like, except that he generally goes around shirtless. When he can be found, he’s at his favorite hobby, drinkin’ shine.

Time for a harsh Reality Check!

Connie Lingus is Todd G. and his vivid imagination. Any similarity to actual people - living, or dead - is terribly unfortunate, and more than just a little bit sad to say the least.

Apparently Todd suffers from a creative split personality that enables him to embody the essence of twin brothers, Eugene and Lefty Lingus, simultaneously in order to create music very much like a real band.

Connie Lingus started as a multimedia art project based on the now mostly defunct website MySpace, which back in olden times was a thriving hub of music and debauchery. The outlandish idea of twin brothers, a tattooed hot chick, and a suspiciously absent drummer forming a band together seemed completely believable to more than a few people - including two or three club owners who wanted to book us for shows! Imagine their disappointment (read relief) when Todd had to break it to them that Connie Lingus was a multimedia work of total fiction. Or a big, fat lie, depending on your point of view.

The part of Maribelle Clementine is played by Mary Lita, who was gracious enough to drive all the way from Dallas one weekend to hang out with the Lingus brothers and have an all-expense paid, luxury photo shoot at some of the most posh locations the Houston metropolitan area had to offer.

And then there’s BoJack Lingus, who, at one time, was portrayed by an actual real person too - Todd’s father, Tony. Although this fact was kept on the DL, as Tony was none the wiser that a picture of his shirtless, saggy boobs was floating around the internet.

That there, dear readers, is the true-to-life epic tale of the legendary band known as Connie Lingus.

Finis! That’s Latin, or maybe French or something - I’m no linguistics expert - for “The End!”
